My name is Amanda, and the past three years with ChooseWell Communities has drastically impacted my life for the better. In the past 3 years with ChooseWell Communities, there have been so many positive things that have happened to me & my family, and I am incredibly grateful. In that time, I have gone from being a hostess, then a peer support specialist, and now, am living my dream as a local small business owner of Kwiot Panda's Art Studio. With my business, I am able to support others in recovery channel their creative sides in a sober environment through events like 'Sober Sip & Paint Parties.' Most importantly, my son and I were able to transition back into life together after my time at a residential substance abuse treatment facility & with great support from ChooseWell Communities.

ChooseWell is like my second family. Thanks to them, I have been able to realize and chase my dream, grow my confidence, & reunite my family -- all while remaining sober. I advise any other parents who may be struggling with recovery to reach out to other parents who have overcome what you're going through. If we just focus on our recovery & loving ourselves, everything else falls into place.
